Vocabulary
Cell
The smallest component of the puzzle, there are 81 of them and when completed each cell will contain one of the digits 1 to 9.
Square
One of the 9 parts of the puzzle which in turn consists of 9 cells. I will refer to the top left as number 1 square. Moving left - 2 and 3,
Middle squares from left 4, 5 and 6. Bottom squares 7 and 8, finally 9 in the bottom right.
Grid
The puzzle consisting of 81 cells or 9 squares (or maybe just call it the puzzle?).
Candidates - one of the digits that can potentially be placed in a cell to solve the puzzle.
Fulfil - a candidate that can be confirmed as the only digit that can be placed in a particular cell to solve the puzzle in question.
Technique - One of the three techniques I have suggested to enable the solving of an 'Expert' puzzle.
